I am not one that gives up easily despite the trials and challenges put into my path. This image represents my past, present, and future, all the trials and hurdles I have had to jump, the different chapters in my life, and the doors that have opened at just the right time. My family and faith have been my beacon guiding me through life. God has always been important in my life, even during times I strayed off the path. Through all my trials there have always been blessings, things have always worked out. I don't believe in coincidences. Even being here in New Mexico, teaching middle school when I never wanted to and never even applied for it, happened because it was exactly where I was needed. My three boys were and are my everything. They were also my strength getting through my trials. My husband too has been a blessing. He has helped break down layers upon layers of walls to help me rediscover who I am, someone I had long buried because of my situations. My trials do not define me, it's the lessons and blessings gained from them. They have made me a stronger and better person, and the teacher I am today and will be tomorrow.
